Abstract
The Vision: SquiggleDAO.com is the #1 resource for anything you want to know about Chromie Squiggles and the SquiggleDAO.

Motivation
Why do we need a brand style guide?
The SquiggleDAO is creating communications across social media, merchandise, and via partnerships/sponsorships. It is critical for these communications to have a unified look
SquiggleDAO has a close linkage with Art Blocks, and both orgs use a Chromie Squiggle as part of its logo

Why do we need a new website?
Current website does not represent the artistic brilliance and colors of the Chromie Squiggle
Current website doesn’t have a user-friendly way to find information about Squiggles and the DAO
SquiggleDAO resources are scattered across github, Google Forms, snapshot.org, and Mirror, and gallery.so
The SquiggleDAO treasury of Squiggles is worth $25MM but there is no easy way for users to view all the Squiggles

Success Conditions
By January 2022:
A brand style guide for use for social media, merchandise, sponsorship materials, partnerships, and other comms
By February 2022:
Revamped website that provides information to three types of visitors:
Squiggle-curious individuals (“I want to learn more about what the Chromie Squiggle is”)
SquiggleDAO-curious individuals (“What does the SquiggleDAO do, exactly?”)
SquiggleDAO members

Specification
Quickrider, glory, and homerfan33 will be responsible for selecting agency and interfacing with agency
Genesis Team, Marketing Squad and Community Squad will be given bi-weekly updates and have opportunity to provide feedback on style guide and website
Marketing Squad and Community Squad will be responsible for creating website content
Agency will create style guide, website design, website copywriting, and website development

Costs
Up to $50,000 USDC for agency fees, due no later than 30 days after project completion

I like the idea of building a new website and design a brand style.

However, I am not sure about the upper limit of 50k usdc budget. In my experience, it probably costs around 2-30k for design/content writing. The web page part is quite simple tbh..

Could you elaborate on how you conclude at this budget since there is only one sentence in that section? and how many agencies are you planning to get a quote? Thank you.

Zooming out, here's the process we went through:

One month ago Gregg made an open call to find agencies https://discord.com/channels/815143468304433154/815479707880783883/906168294241878027
We created a RFP and sent them to 7 agencies
3 agencies didn't respond/weren't interested. 1 agency was interested but didn't have bandwidth. 3 pitched for the business
2 agencies were considered front-runners for the project. The 3rd agency didn't meet our standards.
Our lead agency (which also happened to come in lower in cost) has proposed a $45k budget for this project. The $50k above gives us a little contingency. The other agency, which we also liked, estimated a minimum of $65k (and wouldn't commit to a number until they got deeper into the process).
