Taking new community members from 0 to 1 is probably the most important thing we can be working on right now in terms of community growth, creativity and culture. While we've received praise for onboarding in a clear manner, I think we could do a lot better, especially with activating people into contributor roles.
More people active = better community = better DAO = higher SQUIG value
Updated the Discord onboarding templates. There are two components that are Discord native that we can write content for, direct people to appropriate starting locations
Update existing onboarding content on gitbook. This may also include a migration to Notion
Implement a MEE6 bot or alternative to guide and incentivize new members into potential contributors:
self-selection of interested areas or level of contribution
SQUIG reward and Discord role upgrade when completed
introduce or announce the completion of this accomplishment
